Restaurant.com Print Out Before You Eat Out!

March 11, 2009

let’s face it, the days of eating out every nite for dinner

or even a couple times a week are long gone, with the

economy the way that it is. thankfully though our fast

food nation is able to chow down on some pretty

sweet FREE deals which you can find elsewhere

on squeezy deals! but, as great as those drive-thru

deals are you may be longing for the sit-down, candle

lit ambiance infused days of yore. if that’s the case,

have no fear restaurant.com is here!

if you haven’t already heard about this wonderful site here’s the skinny: you can purchase gift certificates for participating restaurants (their site has em all listed for you) for values of $10, $25, $50 or $100. the $25 cards go for $10 and usually require a minimum food purchase of $35. so that means you gotta eat $35 worth of food, but you slip em the ole gift certificate (you print out + bring with) for $25, which you bought for $10 and then you pay the difference. so i know, now you’re thinking big deal i save $10 (someone double check my math) BUT here’s the real kicker! you ready? sitting down? restaurant.com often (like, seriously, every week) offers discount promotion codes for their certificates. so right now you can get 80% off the cost of the certificates when you use the code MENU at checkout. SO….drum roll please…you’re $25 gift certificate, which is normally $10 is now only $2!!! (still have to eat $35 worth of food but now that $35 only costs you $12!!! HELLOOOOOOO, it’s a no brainer!) AND here’s another tip if you sign up at fatwallet.com and go through their site to get to restaurant.com, fatwallet will give you 20% cashback!!!

ok all this math is starting to hurt my head, but if i have this straight you get your $2 gift certificate for $1.80 if you buy ‘em through fatwallet. that’s almost the cost of stamps these days! $10 certificates usually go for around $3 so that means they’re 60 cents now! and through fatwallet you’re 20% will net you another 12 cents in savings. so the $10 certificate is now ONLY 48 cents!!! (now that really is the cost of a stamp!). GET GOING!!!
